The elementary school project, designed by surveyor Gino Prampolini (the same one who designed the cemetery), was originally oversized. Twelve classrooms were envisioned for a town experiencing rapid and constant population growth, driven by the construction of new factories and growing popularity. However, the final plans halved the number of classrooms. One of the two wings that jutted symmetrically from the rear of the building was sacrificed. The gap on what is now Via Dello Sport is clearly visible.

The central body, built on an interesting rationalist design, underwent significant alterations in the postwar period. Not so much in the movement of the volumes, but in the stylistic features that distinguished the original work. Some windows were closed, the small arches at the first-floor openings were removed, and the three characteristic central windows were replaced and made smaller by nondescript windows. The classrooms and bathrooms are still distributed across the two above-ground floors, while the basement once housed the firewood storage area. The façade follows the circular shape of the roundabout, which is overlooked by the entrance to the “Campo Sportivo” and the former “Domus Tua” (house).
